Broadview Materials and Ruwe Bolster has joined forces. Broadview materials is a manufacturer of HPL. Their collection holds the brands ARPA, FENIX and Formica. During Transport some of the materials get damaged. That’s why we have designed RIDE THE DRAGON, an art light that transforms this waste into art. This art-light is inspired by the Chinese zodiac sign of the dragon, which is also the birth sign of Sheryl, our lead designer. RIDE THE DRAGON symbolises strength, transformation and authenticity. The front side of the prototype is covered with multiple white tones and the back side is covered with a mix of different colours, creating an element of surprise as you walk around the dragon. Each Dragon is covered with the good parts of damaged HPL plates that are available at the moment of each order, meaning no two are ever the same. Each dragon is unique! Our team makes sure that the colours being chosen can find harmony in any space. For example a library, restaurant, children’s hospital or community centre. The possibilities are Endless.
